Theunis Botha
Johannesburg offices
With over 45 years of legal experience, Theunis has built a distinguished career focusing on administration law, insurance litigation, and regulatory matters relating to aviation, customs regulations, and cross-border road transportation.
He has represented and assisted clients in diverse fields of litigation matters. Theunis has also advised a variety of private clients in South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi, Namibia and the United States on road transport and aviation matters. His expertise further extends to advising state-owned transport entities, offering strategic legal guidance on both operational and regulatory matters.
Theunis holds a BCom LLB degree from the University of Johannesburg (formerly Randse Afrikaanse University), along with a BCom (Hons) and LLM degree. He was admitted as an attorney in 1978 and spent eleven years as a partner at the former Van Wyk de Vries Malan & Steyn, before establishing his own legal practice in Johannesburg in 1995.
Christine van Zyl
Kenridge, Cape Town offices
Admitted as an attorney in 2015, Christine has almost a decade of legal experience across commercial law firms, NGOs, and political stakeholders.
She has advised private and political stakeholders on the legal and constitutional implications of proposed legislation and has extensive experience drafting commercial and licensing agreements, offering clear, strategic legal guidance.
Christine holds a BSc in Medical Sciences from the University of Pretoria and an LLB from the University of Stellenbosch. She is currently pursuing a part-time LLM degree in Intellectual Property Law at Stellenbosch.
